The Merriwa MPS is a 25-bed facility that was built in 2009 and is one of six health services located in the Hunter Valley Sector. The hospital provides emergency, acute, residential aged care, respite, palliative and community service.
Merriwa MPS is supported by visiting medical officers and doctors who are located in larger hospitals via telehealth technology.
Telehealth technology also allows doctors and specialists based in Maitland Hospital to assess patients via videoconference with the support of staff in Merriwa.

The Hay Health Service is a 28 bed facility with 12 hospital care beds and 16 residential aged care beds. Hay Health Service provides a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department which is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Hay with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service. A range of primary health care services are also provided at Hay Hospital including community nursing, early childhood nursing, mental health services, palliative care, physiotherapy, speech therapy and nutritian.

The Emergency Department is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Berrigan with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service. It also has the capability to directly transmit ECG’s to a cardiologist for urgent review. The MPS provides a range of services including emergency care, palliative care, respite care, community care and allied health services. We are supported by telehealth and specialty services on referral.

. Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, briefly named Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, is located in the City of Wagga Wagga, the largest inland city of New South Wales, Australia. The hospital is the largest in the region, providing medical services to the wider Riverina.
From Sydney fly to Wagga Wagga.
The airport is 12 km from the Hospital.

There are two bedroom units and three bedroom units. Usually they will try to keep males and females in separate accommodation.
Depending on weather you have a car, they will try to put you in accommodation that is within walking distance. However this is not guaranteed. Accommodation shown above is about a 7 minute drive from the Hospital.
