Colac Area Health’s acute care services consists of a range of inpatient services including medical, surgical, haemodialysis and maternity.
Corangamarah is under the same roof and the aged care part of the hospital it is high level residential aged care service. It is a modern, safe and friendly environment with registered and enrolled nurses and lifestyle workers to aid participation in a wide range of inspiring activities

Corangamarah is under the same roof as the hospital and is the dedicated aged care part of the hospital.

There are four townhouses for accommodation across the road from the hospital.
Also student accommodation and a fee is charged for staying there.Each town house has three or four bedrooms all with double bed. Shared bathrooms.
All common areas cleaned by staff weekly.
NO undercover parking and limited parking is available.

stawell HOSPITAL

Victoria 3380
Stawell has a 29-bed ward and six day surgery beds in the Simpson Wing, operating theatres and an urgent care department. This is supported by a medical imaging department, pharmacy department and Clinical Labs Pathology. It also has a helipad to enable Air Ambulance Victoria to quickly transport patients with life-threatening injury or illness to specialist facilities, generally in Melbourne or Bendigo. If deemed necessary, the helicopter may transport patients directly from an accident scene to the tertiary hospital..
Macpherson Smith Residential care
The nursing home is a 36 bed aged care facility, separated down the hill from the hospital.
nurses ACCOMMODATION
There is a student nurses accommodation onsite. A fee is charged to students staying here.
However for agency nurses accommodation is offsite. (currently do not have information regarding this accommodation.)

hopetoun HOSPITAL
Hopetoun has a small ED and acute ward however is mostly about the residential aged care. Hopetoun Residential Aged Care is a 24-bed facility for permanent or respite care.

There are two single units for nurses accommodation on site. Each has double bed.
AS these are single accommodation you are responsible for cleaning during your stay.

Bendigo
Bendigo HOSPITAL
Bendigo does not supply parking for staff during the day. You will have to find a spot in the nearby streets. Parking is available on site for staff on night shift only.
Bendigo is about 2 hours drive from Melbourne. From Melbourne there are two other alternatives, Catch a train, or bus. There are daily services to Bendigo, departing from Melbourne.
nurses ACCOMMODATION
There are hospital units for nurses accommodation off site. They are about a ten minute walk.
Each are fully self contained and has a queen size bed.
As these are single accommodation you are responsible for cleaning during your stay. However they are serviced weekly with basic cleaning with linen and towels changed.
