Bendigo HOSPITAL
Bendigo does not supply parking for staff during the day. You will have to find a spot in the nearby streets. Parking is available on site for staff on night shift only.
Bendigo is about 2 hours drive from Melbourne. From Melbourne there are two other alternatives, Catch a train, or bus. There are daily services to Bendigo, departing from Melbourne.
nurses ACCOMMODATION
There are hospital units for nurses accommodation off site. They are about a ten minute walk.
Each are fully self contained and has a queen size bed.
As these are single accommodation you are responsible for cleaning during your stay. However they are serviced weekly with basic cleaning with linen and towels changed.
ON SITE:
- All bed linen and towels are supplied.
- Bed made on your arrival.

- NO dryer.
- iron and ironing board.

- plates,cups,utensils all supplied.
- NO dishwasher.
- Each unit has own reverse cycle A/C & heating.

However depending on availability and your agency, you may also be put up in a motel, so do check with you agency which accommodation is available.

– Woolworths, Coles, Aldi are all in town and not far by car.
