From mainland Australia there are two alternatives, Fly by one of the airlines which depart for Hobart daily or if you choose to take your vehicle then get the Spirit of Tasmanian which departs daily from Melbourne.

There are a number of accommodation options available off site. The one displayed above is one of the options. The Hospital has other options available however they are further away from the Hospital and some are shared accommodation. 

These are single accommodation and are cleaned and linen changed weekly by the accommodation people.

Undercover parking is available at the accommodation however it is at an extra cost of $20 per night that you are responsible to pay yourself. This accommodation is in the city and only a 3-4 minute walk from the Hospital.

If you are intending to make a permanent move to Tasmania we suggest you do a lot of research first. The accommodation rentals are hard to find and expensive.

NOTE:

There is NO staff parking onsite. The Hospital is in the city of Hobart and there is no available free parking in the streets either. Staff can park in the public parking facility opposite the Hospital at the current cost of $12 per day.
